To create and promote opportunities for people with autism through advocacy, education, economic opportunities, and humanitarian efforts
We are dedicated to increasing awareness and acceptance of people with autism. We do this by advocating for individuals with autism and their families and improving the economic opportunities available for people with autism through the development of innovative employment approaches that benefit the employer and employee.
Those with autism are less likely to be employed, but they could offer new insights and skills that are not present to those without autism.
People on the autism spectrum are treated with prejudice in their everyday lives, from bullying to harassment to simply being underestimated.
Even with strong legislation, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), there is much more to be give those with autism appropriate representation.
